JR NTR's stirring performance

Junior NTR has finally arrived. After his initial success from films based on factionism, he had been carried away quiet too bit and got himself entangled in the mass genre films with repititive story lines.

Only the back drop used to shift..like Kerala in Simhadri, Kanchi in Samba, Mumbai in Andhrawala etc and etc. There was little scope to emote other suttle human emotions excepting thundering against the villians, slapping thighs, uttering challenges and all. These films returned to the cans as fast as they were made.

In a situation of utter despair, "Rakhee" was a do or die film for him. The movie has stirred the masses and classes alike, with a contemporary story line and heart rendering performance by Jr NTR. We have been hearing about method acting a great deal, of late. Performance of NTR in Rakhee could be stated as the best example in method acting. NTR got himself into the skin of the role and touched the chord of every brother and sister alike, who have watched this film.

His dialogue delivery has improved a million times in comparision with his last films. His performance particularly in the burial ground scene, the scene showing himrunning behind the car in which his sister is leaving for her husbands home, the court room scenes, his altercation with the minister in the railway station stand out.

Generally actors evolve over a period of time. It is unbeleivable to watch NTR growing in stature multifold with a single film. I think the due credit should go to Krishna Vamshee, the director who had earlier given breaks for a number of stars like, Ravi Teja, Chakravarthy.

Good show NTR! Just watch out your growing midriff and pay attention to your scripts, then it's only few more films for you from becomming the Numero Uno of Telugu Film Industry
